Towbars

Auto Tech Systems supplies only the best quality towbars, at very competative prices. Fitments are done by professional and qualified technicians, and every fitment is tested to ensure a perfect and safe fitment has been done.

Brands we offer, include Brink, Bosal, BTM, Execuhitch and Witter.

The type of towbar we fit, will depend on your vehicle type, make and model. The three main types are:

• Fixed Gooseneck / Swan Neck
• Vertical Detachable (BMU)
• Horizontal Detachable (BMA)

To illustrate the difference, here is some graphical information.

The fixed towbar, as seen below, cannot be removed when not in use. This is one of the most common types of towbars fitted.

A vertical detachable (BMU) towbar, as seen below, can be removed and the action is a vertical movement. See the short video clip at the bottom of this page.

A horizontal detachable (BMA) towbar, as seen below, can be removed and the action is a horizontal movement. See the short video clip at the bottom of this page.
