The Tailgate Lock is installed in the tailgate of the vehicle, and prevents the tailgate from being opened when the vehicle is locked.  It is connected to the central locking system and opens and closes by using the key-fob.

The system is quite simple. It’s basically an electric central locking system for your tailgate that syncs with the rest of your vehicle. Once installed, all you have to do is point and click to lock and unlock your tailgate. Whether you’re carrying expensive power tools during the week or luggage and camping equipment on the weekend, it’s one piece of technology that you can’t afford to go without.

The Tailgate Lock works with your factory remote and syncs with your vehicle’s pre-programmed key functionality. This includes working with proximity sensors, door handles, and automatic timed lock functions. Installation only takes around 60 minutes, no drilling required.
